My interpretation of that is, "Our sponsors aren't willing to pony up the funds for both of you until we get this POS competitive so we're putting Button on the bench for a year as a resource in the expectation Fred is going to leave..."

:thumbup: I spent quite a while this morning catching up on Autoweek and Racer emails. My general interest has waned so much, I couldn't quite get the backstory behind the official articles. Appreciate the translation.
