You have 31 days remaining to prepare. http://www.g8board.com/forums/images/smilies/burnout.gif

Entry List (http://www.24h-lemans.com/wpphpFichiers/1/1/ressources/Pdf/2016/24-heures-du-mans/entry-list-24-heures-du-mans-2016.pdf)

The P1 teams (Porsche, Toyota, and Audi) will only run two cars each.
Ganassi is bringing four GTs to compete against the two Corvettes.
I hope the Corvettes smoke them.

4 corvettes too-Team AAI & Larbre are both running a C7 Corvette in GTE AM. The former have Johnny O on board for Le Mans. The latter will have Jordan Taylor onboard for most of the post-le Mans WEC season.

So you go here:

http://members.fiawec.com/liveSignUp

and you pay them 10€

Then come race day you will have commercial free streaming coverage better than anything available in the US.
Sadly it is only live, there is no viewing anything after the race is over.

Also the country list on the signup lists the names in English but the order of the nations is alphabetical from the French (Etats-Unis d'Amerique) so United States is between Estonia and Ethiopia on the list.

I've always been a fan of the Vettes, but...

The GT-40 is probably my favorite car EVAR!!!!

The g. loves Corvettes.
GT has Ganassissi. :yuck:

But, GT-40.

This is going to end with me crying in a puddle of shame and guilt and the g. grounded.

I can't look past the Ganassi connection. Besides the Ford GT looks more like an updated Saleen S7 than a GT-40.
The team picked some good racers, though.

#66 Ford GT: Stefan Mücke, Olivier Pla, and Billy Johnson.
#67 Ford GT: Marino Franchitti, Andy Priaulx, and Harry Tincknell
#68 Ford GT: Joey Hand, Dirk Müller, and Sébastien Bourdais
#69 Ford GT: Scott Dixon, Richard Westbrook, and Ryan Briscoe.

If Seabass wins, that would be ok.

They've done a job on the other manufacturers:
Mucke (Aston Martin)
Priaulx (BMW)
Tincknell (Nissan)
Hand (BMW)
Muller (BMW)
Westbrook (Chevrolet)
Briscoe (Chevrolet)

Looks like Ford threw the sandbags out too early. BOP'd between qualifying and the race.

Hey Fox - mental note for next year: when you say it'll be on FS1, consider actually putting it on FS1, so people who DVR it might actually get to see it, rather than your usual ping-ponging it between FS1, FS2, el ocho and the Reader's Digest channel. Thanks.

It's really nice quality, as well. Great resolution.

Agreed. I'm just ticked because I had an event Saturday morning and attempted to DVR the start, only to find I got two and a half hours of golf. I put on FSGo for the rest of the event.

It appears I'm not alone in my assessment of the broadcast: Fox Sports Isn't Even Trying Anymore (http://blackflag.jalopnik.com/fox-sports-isnt-even-trying-anymore-1782220197)

I pretty much gave up and just left my HTPCs streaming FS Go (even though I get FS1 and FS2 on cable) because of all the schedule changes.

Also (spoiler alert), heartbreak for the Toyota camp. Not generally a Toyota fan in terms of racing, but I really felt for them on this one.

agree, this is crushing for Toyota. Anybody hear what the problem was?

turbo apparently.

also risi penalised 50s for ignoring the meatball flag. 2nd chip ganassi ford (whose protest caused the penalty) hit with a 50s penalty for ignoring yellow flags.

Glad Seabass got the win. Corvette got smoked.

Fox Sports sucks.

Disqualifying the No.5 Toyota seems harsh.
We're the stewards trying to salvage Audi's race with a podium?

Fox was terrible. They were bending over backwards for golf. Not sure why they moved the finished to FS2 when no one important was golfing.

Autosport reported that the No. 5 was Not Classified because there is a required lap time. A bit draconian in my opinion, but I've followed cycling long enough to expect the unexpected from French sporting bodies.
