I put in bids on way too much of that crap, mostly the Simona memorabilia and all of the tubs. I don't care if I get Lola or Dallara, either one would be a good upgrade for my iRacing rig. I found a tub of the former Truesports/Rahal-Hogan chassis on eBay about 10 miles from my house a few months ago, but it was too expensive for me to keep bidding.

Also, maybe if they cashed some of those giant checks, HVM wouldn't have needed to liquidate.

Does Paintergeek (Justin) still post here??? I know he did most of their painting work over the years (I think first as a direct employee then as an independent contractor). I seem to remember he had an epic story from when Bettenhausen first landed Alumax as a sponsor and he and he had to paint their transporter into the new colors overnight for some event/presentation/etc.

Anyhow...more sad days with another liquidation :(
