I have no clue as to the veracity of this report but here it is:

Bernie to 'force' F1 return to V8s (http://beta.iol.co.za/motoring/f1-grand-prix/bernie-to-force-f1-return-to-v8s-1932842)

When he says "we", who does he mean?

The royal "we", or majestic plural (pluralis majestatis in Latin, literally, "the plural of majesty"), is the use of a plural pronoun to refer to a single person holding a high office, such as a sovereign (e.g., a monarch or sultan) or religious leader (e.g., the Pope or a bishop). The more general word for the use of we to refer to oneself is nosism. Nosism, from the Latin nos, "we", is the practice of using the pronoun "we" to refer to oneself when expressing a personal opinion.

Why stop there? The V12s sounded nice too.

Personally, I don't mind the V6, but I think the hybrid aspect of the motor makes it very hard to get just right and drives the cost through the clouds. You remove the ERS, set a rev limit of 22,000, and allow for more fuel consumption, and you have a more understandable, louder, far more enjoyable series. IMO.
