Chrome/OS X gurus?

Strange problem encountered this AM. I resurrected the old MacBook last night. Started using it this AM and Chrome was crashing after a few tabs were opened. So I re-installed Chrome (replaced it). Tab problem resolved. Great. However, it's not allowing form input and some pages (like GMail, Google login, Google searches) aren't rendering. And when I do hit some pages with forms or even a Google search, links are no longer hot. Re-installed, no dice. Uninstalled it and re-installed it, still no dice. Any ideas?

Uninstalling doesn't really uninstall fully. You mayhave some weird user preferences lingering.

It's not just Chrome. I switched to FF to avoid the Chrome issues. Safari has issues as well. Shows previews of videos on Youtube, E$PN.com, OC, etc., but not the full video. So I broke down and bought Mavs....requires OS X 10.6.8 or better to install. I have 10.6.3. This is just getting ridiculous. :shakehead: :\
