Evidently there was some kind of race in Louisiana because I saw this clip on the news.

Having that thing coming at you has to feel like someone threw a drawer full of knives.

Good Lord. At least he got his foot off the ground before being clocked.

Where did they run it in NOLA and how was the track?

A track I've never heard of before called NOLA Motorsport Park. Unless it's got some serious elevation the map looks boring as all buggery.

I watched about 10 minutes of the race and it is for all intents and purposes flat as a pancake and ugly. Watching it on TV felt like a combination of Cleveland and Portland, but not necessarily in a good way. A rather dull track and at first blush looks more suited for touring cars. The cars were able to get up to some decent speeds heading into T1 and T10, but given the current technical regulations that is relative.

The broadcast showed that the crew member was hurt, but never had the video showing HOW he was hurt.

Track was wet/dry and runoff areas were incredibly swampy. RHR caused a wreck late in the race with Seabass and Pagenaud and tried to blame the other two when he clearly was at fault. Like, Helen Keller could see that it was his fault.

I got a laugh out of the fines and penalties from this trainwreck. Marco was fined $500 for not keeping his visor down on a pit stop. Indycar, focusing on what's important. http://www.indycar.com/News/2015/04/4-15-New-Orleans-Penalties-Announced
