Wow, "The 15 Minutes Of Bathurst"...didn't see it, but I think I waded through about half of those 20 safety car parades...Streaming was very good, easy to check race progress. That GTR looked to be a winner almost from the start...but 3rd to first on the LAST LAP to win it!? Crikey!:)...I like the "Congratulations NISMO, you are Bathurst Champions!" on the Bathurst website...thought I'd won a prize for watching for so long! The finish is up on YouTube.

As always Bathurst throws down a spectacle. There were a heap of safety cars, it seemed when people wanted to go off track that they thought it a good idea to do it an unrecoverable area! Going into the final 10 minutes any of 5 cars could win (Bentley, Audi, Nissan, Aston Martin, Mercedes). A final safety car set up an enthralling finish...this is worth watching:

FIVE cars with a shot after nearly 12 hours, SEVEN manufacturers in the top 7 places on that restart...CHIYO SAN! A side-by-side photo finish for us NEXT year!? FINALLY temps over freezing here, our most recent 18" snowfall is disappearing...starting to plan for RA and Milwaukee, perhaps a couple of others...you KNOW you are in need of a race-fix when you start to cut the apex on sidewalk curves... with the snowblower!
