So true JoeBob. I can't read any of this without crying. Dammit.

Thanks for link. I reread the Miller 2009 article yesterday as well. I remembered Greg with a post on FB today.

RIP Greg, we won't forget you. Thanks for the great memories; I'll read the links another day.

On a personal note, RIP to my stepbrother who died today in 2007 after a short illness. My stepfather went home from the hospital and passed out Halloween candy.

Strange - I can remember the details of that evening like I remember 9/11. Others are sad, this one felt personal.

Nice story by Hinch....

Pretty much sums up the way most of us here feel...
We were all much younger, loved the racing, and many of the personalities....
hard to believe its 15 years....

I finally read the Racer article; very touching and a nice job by Hinchcliffe. That really was the day the music died. CART had a few good moments after that but not many and now it lives only in our memories and on YouTube. A nice part of this article was Hinch talking about listening to the old CART alumni talk about old times. I know there are sponsors, yada, yada, yada, but I've long felt like it isn't just the "winners" of the Indy wars that want to pretend CART never existed, the survivors feel the same. Nice to know they appreciate something and at least talk about it among themselves.

Thanks drake!

Seems like yesterday, but also a lifetime ago.

What a great tribute. I could barely read through the tears, barely breath around the lump in my throat.
