Coming soon? Seems like a great deal of circumstantial evidence showing this is more than rumor.

Audi To Enter F1 In 2016 With Fernando Alonso Onboard? (http://www.motorauthority.com/news/1095122_audi-to-enter-f1-in-2016-with-fernando-alonso-onboard)

I'm not buying it...too circumstantial. They could just as well use the Bugatti brand in F1 given its history although by that logic they could use Bentley at Le Mans again too

Given their spending level in Le Mans/WEC they probably would get better exposure in F1 for that kind of investment. Porsche in Le Mans/WEC and Audi in Le Mans/WEC/F1/DTM and VW in WRC. That's quite a bit.

The streamliner version looks like it came directly out of a saturday afternoon matinee.

Yeah but they dominate at Le Mans. Hard to give up the throne and start at square one.

Hard to dominate at one track :tony:(Honda) :gomer:
and
then get back into F1 (Honda) - see how they do next year starting at square one
