I'm in Edmonton for this year's 2014 Triathlon World Championship. Are there any must sees in Alberta and Edmonton that we should know of?

I don't know much about Edmonton and the area but if you've got time a drive down the Icefields Parkway from Jasper to Banff should be on the list. http://www.icefieldsparkway.ca/index.html

Or come to BC. BC's better. By far.

Yeah, several orders of magnitude better.

Unfortunately with the World Champs in Edmonton Alberta was the choice!

:thumbup: Highly Recommended. If you're not renting a car, you can also do a trip by bus.

How long are you sticking around after your last race?

I can't think of much in the way of true touristy stuff in and around ed.... There is Speeders on 149th ave and 131 street north of the yellowhead highway for some indoor karting...

West Edmonton Mall is still the largest North American mall and in the top 5 world...
