Formula E down a race already

The Rio race has been pulled from the calendar already Autosport reports. The Rio race was a replacement for the Hong Kong race. At this point I can't see any of it happening. Who in Uruguay is going to stump up to bring these glorified toy cars for instance?

Smart compromise for the series since the Downtown LA circuit would probably need 2 years of work which hasn't started yet; event stays in LA county, they can promote the use of light rail from DTLA or LAX right to the main gates.

This series will happen in some fashion for at least one season. Alejandro Agag has too much money and ego to let it fail.

That is correct from what I saw. Maybe they'll add a Prius race as well. Whatever, if I still live in LA next April I'll go check it out.
