Those last 10 minutes are the best in recent memory, for me.

Trulli puts it up there (light load, I'm guessing) and keeps it there. BMW's actually tied on the first sector, Juan comes up .024(?) short of catching Ralf. Michael comes out and barely beats Ralf. Kimi's the only car left, but everyone's figuring he has a heavier load because Coulthard was like 7th. Kimi comes out and runs behind Schumacher's times on the last 2 sectors, but then has a very quick 3rd sector and beats Michael by a hair.

I think Norbert Haug almost had a stroke. Pounding on the console like a gorilla. :D

 I agree!

Let's go with standing starts on road and streets to. I also like the rule locking the qualifying setup and fuel load till the race as well. It really makes for interesing strategy on the qualifying and really makes qualifying a more intergral part of the race.

I think everyone was sceptical at the start of this year about the one-shot qualifying format, but I think it's proved more exciting for the fans while it really tests the driver as he has to get the lap perfect while being very, very fast.

About time Kimi got a pole as well!
