Made headlines here in the south (visiting TravelMom).

Made MY day. :D

The prozac must have worn off. Shades of the old Danica.

Danica Patrick took exception with how David Gilliland raced her Sunday at Kansas Speedway.

Gilliland, though, did respond after his 23rd-place finish. Through spokeswoman Shari Spiewak, he delivered four words when told of Patrick's comments: "Shut up and race."

Glad to see all her success hasn't changed her. :gomer::thumbup:

Actually it wasn't all that easy to forget, just ask anyone with PTSD. So thank you ever so much for the reminder:saywhat:

"One part came in 2.7 grams underweight, and somehow made it through our processes and ended up unfortunately in an engine that was selected to be weighed," White told ESPN.com."

Ain't Mormon, it is just my tastes in scantily clothed females do not run towards the prepubescent male form.

And if you ever needed to know something about Mormons, today's news reports that the most popular book in the BYU library, both paper and e-reader formats, is Twilight by Stephanie Meyer.

That tells you all you need to know...

Awesome, she was on the Colbert Report last night. I can't wait to see what Stephen says to her when I watch my DVR or it.

What does that say about Mormons? That they have no taste? That they believe in vampires? That the men are a bunch of closet homosexuals?

All I know is that Mormon Wasp was a helluva race car back in the day. :gomer:

3 grams light? 3 grams of coke can get you a lesser sentence. Much less.

I can see zero tolerance in not meeting set limits, especially in the engine area, but unambiguously taking away the win and points is plenty deterent. These fines and suspensions are over the top.

The REAL problem here is that the win was Gibbs Racing's 4th in the last 6 races. Can't have the championship decided until the last lap of the last race...on a green/white/checker...ya know? Plus, Kenseth is from WISCONSIN fer cripe sake! Can't have too much of THAT! (PS-can't you just see a couple of cotton balls taped to the hood at the next race!?)

3 grams on ONE connecting rod. There is NFW that made the difference between a win and a loss. And worse it was in a sealed engine they get from TRD which means they had no control over it.

Penalties are getting ridiculous.

You know Stephanie Meyer is Mormon, right?

Back on track, when Kyle Busch(!!) is the well-behaved Gibbs driver, you know you're watching Bizarro NASCAR.

Nope, I wasn't aware of that. All I know is the Twilight series is just plain awful.

True but in this case the Twilight series are books.
Movies too but if they are based off the books [shudder]...

Stand By Me was the best adaptation of a book (short story by Stephen King) to film I have seen. The Green Mile was good as well (Michael Clarke Duncan, RIP, stole the show).

Now back to bashing Princess Permapout. :D

And it perpetuated even more awful. The 50 Shades of Grey books were initially published online as a Twilight fanfiction.

Have Danica Patrick and David Gilliland made amends? (http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nascar/2013/04/26/danica-patrick-richmond-david-gilliland/2115515/)

Hey USA Today, NOBODY CARES.

Sheesh.
