Things are changing behind the scenes. The dedicated server that OC runs on is going on ten years old and hasn't been able to be updated for about five years. So we're replacing the old server which is in a rack in Ft Lauderdale with a server that I've placed in a data center here in Columbus.

Right now I haven't got a date for the site to actually move but I've started tinkering with things on the back end so I wanted to mention it in case I break something. Don't worry, if we're out of service for a while it's probably just because I botched a DNS entry or pulled the wrong wire.

Stay tuned for updates as actual changes to the site get closer.

Done. I owe a debt of gratitude for the assistance received here and the good friends I have met (but haven't really met :gomer:)

You folks are terrific. No, I wouldn't solicit. We do this for our own enjoyment. The fact that anyone would consider it worthy of a contribution means a lot. So thanks for that.

I started getting paypal emails this afternoon and I thought it was a phishing attack. :)

No, you'll know when that happens. With luck it will include a move to vBulletin 4.2. Assuming I can get it stripped down to OC standards.
