Melee breaks out in the pits @ Phoenix after Jeffy wrecks Bowyer and Keselowski. All that was missing was AJ tossing a laptop. :saywhat:

Jeebus what a mess the end of that race was. Sorry I didn't record it.

I'm sure Nascar approves, off the record.

Replay is on E$PN 2 @ 2:30am, but I'm sure they will sanitize it a bit.

That was insane. I can't believe that they had four cops outside the hauler to escort Gordon & his crew chief back to his bus. Did they expect another rumble to break out?

I'm surprised another one didn't break out. That melee made the AJ/Arie debacle @ TMS look mild.

Expect probations/suspensions to be announced shortly.

And for NASCAB not to have thrown the yellow when Danicles spun out is just inexcusable.

If the TV ratings go up because of the brawl, expect more brawls.

I think it was Denny Hamlin that made the comment that Ray Charles could have seen the oil out there on the track.

The same thing happened @ The Glen. Me thinks NASCAB has implemented an alternate version of Elmo's idea to use random sprinklers for F1. :gomer:

Here I was, resting comfy in the knowledge that Dolan's was down for good and I'd never have to listen to Lee talk about NASCAR again...

Sheesh.

When NASCAR stupidity shows up on my radar it means they have truly jumped the shark.:shakehead

our-time NASCAR champion Jeff Gordon avoided suspension Monday when NASCAR instead fined him $100,000 and docked him 25 points for intentionally wrecking Clint Bowyer at Phoenix International Raceway.

Chase for the Sprint Cup Standings

Brad Keselowski leads NASCAR's Chase for the Sprint Cup Championship by 20 points over Jimmie Johnson entering Sunday's finale at Homestead.

Gordon was also placed on probation through Dec. 31. But he'll be allowed to close out the season Sunday at Homestead-Miami Speedway despite his actions in Sunday's race, which triggered a fight in the garage area between the two crews.

Weak sauce. :shakehead

Wow that was tremendously lame, goes to show all the crap they talk about being bigger than their individual drivers and not taking **** from them is BS. JG and Hendrick just walked all over them.

Love how moron Alan Bestwick stated at the start Alan Kulwicki won the first race in 98 , five years after he died and ten years after his 88 Phoenix win. I went in 98, when Rusty Wallace won.
