Once you receive the check, have it cashed and deduct your money for
the goods also Deduct $50 for your running around that I have caused
you during the transaction period and $50 that i promise you for
keeping the item for me and send the remaining funds to the mover,and
the mover is also picking some other valuable goods (like household,
furniture's and electronics set.) at the same city of your location,to
my new apartment.that is why you need to help me and transfer the
amount to the moving company.This was sent to avoid delay in this

Someone is having fun with a scammer. The person offering to buy the craigslist item will sent a certified check for some amount more than they were supposed to. Then they will ask the person to wire them back the difference. The problem is that the certified check was a convincing fake. The bank may accept it but when they try to pass it to the originating bank they'll find out it's a fake. Meanwhile the victim has wired the funds, which can't be retrieved.

This works sometimes because people trust that a "Certified Check" is as good as cash.

I'm just trying to get the scammer to burn up some postage.
I'm pretty sure $29,500 is higher than market for my Little Tikes laundry set anyway.
