Caused a session ending red flag a little while ago.

Audi hybrids well ahead, Toyota competitive w/Audi diesels, petrol P1s taking in the shorts again. Delta Wing running mid-P2 times, can turn just fine and didn't blow over on the Mulsanne.

Couple of pretty nasty offs too. At least one driver already out.

This thread skeered me, I thought I missed the race. Twilight Zone moment :saywhat:

Guillaume Moreau suffered a massive hit. It looks to be a long road back for him unfortunately... At least the surgery was successful and he escaped paralysis as was initially feared.

Any video of the Wang car suddenly and without warning spewing white foam across the track?

Wife wants to know.

Dunno but apparently they had to knock 35" off the length to fit in a pit box. That's a helluva circumcision.

Finished my 2 night session & going to bed. Car is better & driver is learning. It was good today. Love the night but it's still nuts!

Vickers is driving the No.61 AF Corse-Waltrip Ferrari in the GTE-Am class.
They qualified 6th from dead last and their qualifying time was 3 seconds slower than the class leading Flying Lizards Porsche.

I hope he is prepared for the traffic, especially at night. Last year Ferraris were punting cars (mostly Audis) off the track left and right.

The car he's driving was the one that almost killed Rockenfeller last year. His teammate and the guy who pays the bills Rob Kaufmann is way out of his league here and I hope he doesn't screw up again like last year

On the Le Mans timing & scoring screen there are three car "States".
1. Run
2. Pit
3. Out

Out does not mean, "Out of the Race."
It means, "On an Out Lap leaving the pits."

:irked:

At one point, I saw that the No.7 Toyota and the No.80 Flying Lizard were "Out" but couldn't figure out what happened to them. :gomer:

click the little "listen Live" on the LHS (http://www.radiolemans.com/)

Guys speaking some weird form of English, giving a lot of info as the race unfolds.

I don't know yet if it's synced very well (or at all) with the Speed feed.

Two things so far. The Toyotas are much closer to the Audis than I expected. If they can last (and thats a big IF) this could be interesting come tomorrow morning. Also the battle in GTE-PRO between the #74 Vette, #97 Aston, and #51 Ferrari is fantastic. Hope it goes to the end!

No.8 Toyota with Anthony Davidson just taken out by No.81 AF Corse Ferrari.
The Toyota flipped and the Ferrari ended up on its roof.

No.3 Audi back on track after a big shunt before the Toyota/Ferrari wreck.

They were able to repair the front right in 27 minutes and due to the yellow flag only lost 7 laps.

Weird aero lift going on there. The initial impact w/ the Ferrari seemed to lift the rear bodywork, which screwed up the aero on the spin. Very IR07ish.

Some speculation elsewhere that when the LR wheel came off, that opened the door for lift.

That hit into the barrier was brutal though.
