Here's the press release from the track:

Infineon Technologies, a German semiconductor manufacturer whose U.S. headquarters are in Milpitas, will not renew its naming-rights deal for the Sonoma County speedway. The raceway's parent company, Speedway Motorsports Inc., made the announcement Wednesday in its annual earnings report.

Didn't Infineon get the memo that this was a breakout year? :gomer:

I picture an IRL car with race track kill marks on the side. They'd be what - 2 time or 3 time ace?

True. I read about a sponsor bailing out of auto racing and just assumed it was because of the IRL. Force of habit. Sorry. :D

Never called it Infineon. Always been Sears Point to me. Same with Laguna Seca.
