If you are making the trek and want to plan ahead, this might help. Folks around here are pretty pizzled about this so I guess that means it pretty much nails it.

I live where "Farmers and Developments" meets "The Hill People" meets "Pennsylbama" (not to be confused with Elmoland which is a little south)

The GP will be with "Hipsters" flanked by "Poor Minorities" and "Well to Do Conservatives -- Christie Country".

Yeah, that's about right.

Pure win!

Boy, you are right on the line there. I'd like to see something similar for PA.

And I think the preferred term is Pennsyl-tucky. That map is as true as this gem:

I've heard it called Pennsyl-tucky, but others describe PA as Pittsburgh and Philly separated by Alabama.

Besides, I heard Kentucky complained about the comparison. Bama did not. :D

It may have not have originated with him, there is a fairly famous quote from James Carville to that effect.

Wawa > Sheetz:rofl:

Not according to my kids. We have to stop at a Sheetz in Clarks Summit (Scranton) every time we head up to Watkins Glen. They think it is the bestest place ever.

I have two WaWa coffee travel mugs purchased in Maryland. We have sheetz here. I think WaWa is way better - better selection of stuff.

I plan my drives to my mother's place around Sheetz locations. Wawa's for suckers.

This almost makes me want to stay on my side of the Hudson....but for the GP of Weehawken I'll be brave and make the trek to the wilds of the Garden State. ;););)
