During his interview Scott Atherton said ALMS expects two new teams next year. It may have been CEO speak, but I got the impression they were factory efforts but not Audi or Peugeot. Wonder who?

The major one is Toyota (already announced last week). And the other is believed to be Lotus. But thats an effort run by Ian Dawson, who's last few efforts haven't come to fruition, and it's far from a major factory effort. More than that, neither of these would actually be running in ALMS until at least 2013 if that. To be honest, 2014 looks like the better year but not for ALMS. The new World Endurance Championship should be awesome with Audi, Peugeot, Toyota, Porsche, Nissan?, and maybe Jaguar? all coming with factory LMP1 efforts to go after Le Mans. ALMS on the other hand, looks to be left out in the cold...
