Springtime at Mid-Ohio

Last weekend I rented a 200-400 f/4 (translation: big honkin') lens and spent a day at the track working on the skills / portfolio (for those not in the know, I've been working on developing the portfolio in anticipation of shooting a race/races on credentials sometime next year).

I pretty much had the place to myself, other than the cars (PCA club of North Jersey).

Very nice! Good luck with the credentials thingy...getting paid to take photos of race cars is right up there with getting paid to race race cars as far as dream jobs go...not quite as good as swedish bikini team oil-boy, but a very close second...;)
