Sorry Justin, had to start one... ;)

So anyways, Jensen Motorsport gets PGPW to do up a simple in design but very nice looking paintjob... I like the flat black with highlights..

That was quite a hit.

When's the last time they did any paving at Milwaukee? The track looks worse than the interstate after a long winter.

A half a metre to the left and that may have turned out a lot worse.

Last paved years ago by Carl Haas when he was promoting the Milw, out of his own pocket i believe.

The paving looked old the last time I had a chance to walk around it the day after the race. Must have been 1999. I've collected good stuff on post race walks -- small tools that got tossed out of the way or left on a side pod and a whole bunch of nicely chromed Schraeder valve stem caps. Both my 10 speeds (1970 Puch and 1972 Raliegh GP converted to a city cruiser in the early 2000s) are decked out in exCART stuff!. GP was afree bike with a sound frame that I hauled out of the basement of the apartment complex where I found it hidden behind and enormous hot water tank with years of dust and crude on it. Worth the $120+ and time I put into it over the winter, but hey, I love what are now vintage bikes almost as old as me. :D

Was it the track? I guess that makes sense. Must be a damned washboard. I hadn't seen porpising like that since the F1 ground effect era.
