Email this AM titled "IMS Gear - Selling out with Speed". First, I don't buy that for an instant. Second, "selling out" seems like a poor choice of wording.

Check out the flying car background graphics on the page. Do you suppose someone said making the IRL sled fly away was a bad idea so they swapped them out?

Who on earth would spend $1100 on a pair of black plastic sunglasses (http://secure.brickyard.com/Retail/ProductDetails.aspx?ProductBaseId=c0d04b74-7ec5-4dbb-ad72-ef119e84dcbe&mode=retail)

Stayed downtown for the 2001 USGP - stopped in a mall near the hotel. They had some sort of IMS/Racing store.

They were selling a polished wood wall plaque with 4 photos of Stan Fox's crash - complete with dangly legs and all. :saywhat:

ABC has Conway flying into the fence and nearly killing himself (last year) as their leading commercial for the race broadcast. I can't even begin to register my disgust at the audio from that ad. Kind of like Scott Goodyear saying how EXCITING this year's race will be. Everbody knows real race fans only watch because THIS time maybe they can see somebody get killed!:shakehead

Doesn't matter, since '96 they all turn your finger green anyway.

Does this mean that all 100 Scott Speed t-shirts are gone? Will there be a reprint before Texas?
