It's less objectionable than if they had a Charles Manson clothing line. :D
And the whole point of punk was to be anti-fashion. I doubt if you will ever see Patti Smith endorse a clothing line in Target stores. :\

Looks like skate punks, or at least those who market to them, are trying commandeer "punk". The net result is funny in the same sense as "Engrish" tee shirts, people wearing stuff that makes no sense and they don't even understand.
