Another way for the Greens to siphon off Honda bucks. RIP Jim Trueman, they've sold the family jewels. :(

In other news, New Jersey Motorsports Park filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy today. Not good...

This was very depressing news for me. M-O is one of my favorite places on Earth.

Yes, and after just 2 seasons the "Autobahn Grand Prix" in Joliet has devolved to 4 Mazda races...Star Mazda, USF2000, MX-5 Cup, and Skippys...remember "on any weekend more Mazdas are road raced than any other make." True, but C'MON!:irked:

I once said at race just before the IRL took over the openwheel weekend that one day the track would be sold, closed to the publicl and condos built for rich guys to use when they want to play with their toys. One part has come true.

Yes. That was Autobahn's plan from the beginning. The REAL racing was just an experiment but I guess it hasn't succeeded. Too bad. It was a lot of fun. I guess even rich guys don't like losing baskets of money... even if it pleases competitors and fans.:(
