Young Japanese Dirt Trackers can no longer dream of winning their home oval race. The dreams of a new generation dashed.............

Hmmm...Mutoh yesterday, Motegi today...

What's it gonna be tomorrow? Race sponsorship? Engine exit strategy? That TEXAS BBQ is paying off dividends.

About the time Curic and Gumbal were trying to figure out what an internet was, Honda was entering its first Champ Car race.

The world has moved on.

Sometimes with growth like an Amazon jungle.

Sometimes like a rotting woodchuck on the side of the road.

Mixed feelings - no mention of CART/CC races from '98 to 2002. :irked:

Motegi has been hosting the race since 2003, an event won by Scott Sharp. The circuit was also the venue of Danica Patrick's maiden and so far only win in 2007.

It was also the first international event added to the IndyCar series schedule.

But, in other news, YAY! Honda's leaving! (right?)

Will they keep Mid-Ohio if Honda cancels the company picnic?

Things are getting grater!

This is that part of the relationship where someone says, "You know, maybe we should take separate vacations this year."

Not a surprise. That H hole served its purpose by hiding the "they asked me to let her by" win by the princess. No need to keep carrying it.
