Da Boss gave me permission to post this. One of the major US tour companies serving the South Pacific is Down Under Answers. I've known the owner since the day he started the company. He's the gold standard of what an owner should be IMHO. He has come up with this and asked agents to pass it on to friends and colleagues. I've been to Australia many times and have done all the things listed. I can tell you that this is a fantastic trip. I hope you win it (if I don't, that is).

...in an effort to raise money for the Red Cross Relief Fund. Here is the trip we are providing:

* Tickets for two from Los Angeles to Australia, on V Australia. Domestic Australia sectors on Virgin Blue.
* Three nights in Melbourne at the Crown Metropol, with access to the "Club 28" including breakfast and drinks/canapes daily.
* Three nights in Sydney at the Sebel Pier One.
* Three nights in Cairns at the Shangri-La Cairns.
* Colonial Tramcar Dinner for two in Melbourne.
* Yarra Valley Wine Tour for two from The Australian Wine Tour Co.
* Essential Sydney Tour from Australian Wild Escapes for two.
* Coffee Cruise on Sydney Harbour for two from Captain Cook.
* Outer Barrier Reef tour in Cairns for two from Quicksilver Cruises.
* Daintree Rainforest and Cape Tribulation in Cairns from Downunder Tours for two.
* All airport transfers throughout.
* Plus, there will be additional activities added, and VIP status throughout.

(Taxes of approximately $250 per person the responsibility of the winner. Certain black-outs apply. Travel must commence by October 31, 2011 and conclude by November 30, 2011.)

For every donation in increments of $10, you will have one entry into the drawing. So, if you donate $50, you receive five entries. $100 will get you 10 entries. The more donated, the better the chance to win. Trip may be transferred (so if you win, you can provide the trip to someone else if you choose). Please help us in raising money for such a worthy cause - please tell your clients, your family, your friends and neighbors.

The process is simple. Go to our secure website payment portal: https://www.duatravel.com/pay
[http://r20.rs6.net/tn.jsp?llr=85di6lbab&et=1104234809880&s=2981&e=001t7vJyp50Rjkh_jwiEGUgnG3dW8YbpwuTievNZsPqPT_ZK O62m-eNJ5bLAf3VRRMtBS2vMPTu91jpwrajYSIxJlVGuTsZgYFHpseD gUw-ywQSohTTrDyzsQ==].
Select "Red Cross" as the Type of payment, and the Reservation ID is "Flood Appeal."
You will receive an email acknowledgment of the transaction. All monies received, and the drawing itself, will be reviewed and verified by Cottle & Swanson, CPA's of Bellevue, WA. Donations accepted until February 8, 2011 and drawing will be held on February 10, 2011.

Thank you so much for your consideration. We appreciate greatly the assistance of V Australia and the other terrific partners in Australia for making this possible, and we hope to make a strong impact on relief efforts. Down Under Answers and each team member will be making donations to this cause separately (obviously exempt from the prize drawing).

My very best regards,

Kirk Demeter
President

FYI folks, $13,100 was earned in $10 increments to help the Australian Red Cross for flood relief. Wish it could have been more. The trip itself is worth about that.

The drawing for the winner was to be today. I've been sitting by the phone but so far it's only prerecorded calls for the upcoming city elections.

It was extended a week.
Donated to Australian Red Cross: $13,760.
Winner: Not me. Sigh.
