Hi guys,

I've got some various Champ Car diecasts that it's time to part with, so I figured I'd list them here first in case any of you were interested. In almost all cases I have the boxes, the cars are in pretty good shape, and I can provide details/photos if necessary. PM me if any of these catch your eye and we'll talk price ... will ship anywhere in the continental US/Canada, and can do local pickup for anybody in the Indy area.

Mods, feel free to move this to a more appropriate place if needed.

I'm certainly interested. A few months ago I bought a 1/18 1999 Vasser car. Of course it really does matter what the price is. Its hard to justify shelling out hundreds when your only income is part time after school at the local market... You can PM me with prices if you don't want to disclose them.

It's not that I don't want to disclose prices so much as I don't know exactly what they are. I kinda figured negotiation over PM would be less disruptive to the forum, that's all. For most of these I have some idea what the collector price would be based on Ebay listings and inventory at a few specialty shops online, but I'm not necessarily looking to get the collector price and everything is negotiable.

Which ones are you interested in?

Now I probably couldn't buy all of these but these are ones that I am considering:

#98 Castrol Eagle road course, PJ Jones, 1998, UT Models, 1/18
#7 Miller Lite Reynard Oval, Max Papis, 1999, Action, 1/18
#25 MCI Reynard Road Course, Max Papis, 1998, UT Models, 1/18
#21 LCI Reynard Road Course, Tony Kanaan, 1998, UT Models, 1/18
#18 Motorola Reynard Road Course, Mark Blundell, 1997, UT Models, 1/43

It would be really nice to have the Gugelmin one but I get that you don't want to part ways with it. I feel the same way about some of the cars in my own collection.

And now for a complete hijack. As the holidays are coming up, I was wondering how to post that I have a hard back copy of Winning (PLN) that I would part with for just the postage. Excellent condition. So, I figure Ed's a good guy, he won't mind. I hope. PM me if interested.

I think this is great! I have a couple boxes of PPG IndyCar/CART era collectibles (not including the stacks of IndyCar/Racer mags) that I've often felt would be better enjoyed by someone else rather than locked in a box in my attic.
Not parting with any Senna stuff. Sorry. ;)

I do have an incredibly attractive Jack Villeneuve hat though....cheep. Suede brim :D

Trev, just grab the old man's checkbook. Since he just learned the youtube tags, I'm sure he still writes paper checks. :gomer: :p

Ed, is the Max/Miller Lite car the Harley version?

No. If it was, I'd be hanging on to that one. ;) Those suckers are hard to come by. There's one listed on Ebay right now for about $63, which is a killer price as long as you're willing to pay the $39 shipping fee from the UK. :tony:

Tell me about it. I kick myself daily for not picking one up @ MO that season. As well as a litho of The Pass I saw there that year as well. :saywhat: Instead, I'm stuck with a Rahole's Last Ride and Herta Shell livery. :irked:

I have one. Not so well worn. But what do you expect? I live in CA and you....don't.
