Geez, I wish Penske could dial in the ovals a little better. So, the front row splits at T-1 to let Power through then blocks for a couple'hundred miles? Or, three wide-three wide-three wide...for the duration?

Jack Arute is sweating through his shirt and it's quite gross. I can't believe he thought it was a good idea to go on the air looking like that. :yuck:

I just skimmed the results and it turns out Milkers beat 6 other drivers??

OK, 5 of them were DNFs.

If I were Roger Yasukawa, I guess I would've gratered it towards the end of the race instead of losing to Milkers. :)

He also claimed that Japan is in a different hemisphere, which is why he was so sweaty...

Yeah, Eastern Hemisphere :gomer:

Forgot about the race. Trevor apparently DVRed it and said we'll watch it this week when we are really bored

OT but did anyone notice Euro GT1 race on Bloomberg TV yesterday afternoon? I stumbled on it and had no idea Bloomberg covered GT1 (with Asian markets on the ticker at the bottom of the screen). Good coverage and an interesting race.

Oh and Arute has been really gross for a few years now.

He was fine 'til he had to cover all those CART races in the 90s.

Starched earth and whatnot. :gomer:

Hemisphere problems are not uncommon for our mentally challenged friend.

Andrew, best tell Trevor to watch it while he's already asleep so he won't know the difference.

They've been showing the "new" FIA GT1 World Championship all season (or most of it). Time buy or not, its better than another NASCAR show on SPEED. The races are online too (http://gt1world.com/), which makes them easy to watch when you have some spare time.

It was almost unbearable and left me questioning why I was subjecting myself to such mind numbing pablum. Watching an ‘Indy Car’ race today leaves me with more questions than answers; if I’m watching this and I hate what I’m watching…what do the professed fans find within the product to enjoy? Danica’s personality? Wheldon’s teeth?
Familiar names dot pit wall, Vasser, DeFerran, Penske, Ganassi, Mears to name a few…Why? If a button on the steering wheel is called “pass assist” but it doesn’t actually assist in making a pass why is it called ‘pass assist’? Shouldn’t it be called ‘the button that doesn’t do anything’? Does Jon really dislike Buhl as much as it sounds during the broadcast? Will this nightmare ever end?

Andrew, best tell Trevor to watch it while he's already asleep so he won't know the difference. He's a teenager. That won't be a problem. He was driving the other day and a school friend who passed by encouraged him to not fall asleep at the wheel, a problem that might explain some of his school performance. OK. I'll stop embarrassing him now (but I'm sure it not possible for a dad to stop doing that)

So I get Bloomberg TV, I had no idea. :cool:If you are into it, Charlie Rose is on it a lot in the evenings. And it is pretty depoliticized, de-hyped biz news.

Do they really have Godzilla on the side of the track? If so it makes those giant bugs at Barber look tame.

Betrand what happened at the start? Godzilla scared me, so I lifted slightly and spun on cold tire.

Godzilla goes wherever he wants. On the side of the track, in the infield, under the bleachers to get out of the sun, . . . .

Took the words right out of my mouth.

Where was he when we needed him to stomp out the very idea of the IRL? Too late, he needs to go back to his cave.
