Just found out this evening that soul superstar Bobby Hebb died two weeks ago at age 72 from lung cancer. Although maybe not lauded in the same way as others of his era, Hebb was responsible for what has to be one of the most covered songs of all time, the wonderful 'Sunny.'

He scored another pretty large hit in 1972 with the song Love, Love, Love which the poms absolutely adored on the Northern Soul scene.
