"The Truth" reported that Herta may have a chance to race at Laguna Seca this week.

A seat might be opening in an under-performing team (insert your favorite slug here) and Brian is the leading candidate.

Dario's medical clearance is pending which would release B from his AGR duties.

Or maybe not, who knows?

My guess would be for the musical seat at Coyne.

I would like to see him put Lamarie back in street clothes for at least a week.

Too bad he's not one of Pollock's clients.

Pollack has mention a few times that two cars would be more ideal.
Papis has mentioned in a Italian Sport Magazine as saying that he has to race one more Cart race at Portland for PK racing later this year.
So if they are going to have him in the seat there maybe its a second PK seat and they are having Herta (laguna king) in the second seat this weekend..

So some Cart teams are going the hired guns route ala Nascar?

Just one weekend? How about several... like race weekends.

Papis was announced to be driving for the PK Porsche Le Mans team ( http://www.pksport.com ). Somehow, CART forums translated that to him driving for PK Racing in CART. The teams have no connection other than some common initials.

If there's a quote in a sports car magazine/website referring to PK, keep in mind that might not mean the CART team.

If you're gonna hire one guy to run one track, Herta would be the guy for this one track(Laguna).

Good thing they held up on the promotions...now they have a 2 time Grand Prix of Monterey champion to promote to the people.

Of course, they only have 36 hours to do it but Rome wasn't built in a day either.
