Go to Youtube and look at the Brands Hatch Chris van der Drift SuperLeague launch and landing if you want to see just what could have resulted from Michael's little blocking move. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EXkTFocu6ho

Oh...and a broken ankle, injured shoulder and hand. Conscious and alert, surgery on the hand. Guy was very fortunate. Can't tell if the bridge saved him from the trees or should be removed. SOMEthing needs to be done there.

All bridges across tracks are frightening. Tunnels are a much better idea. Only a matter of time till somebody get's launched into a bridge.

Bruno Senna hit a bridge at iirc Croft.

There is a little kink to the right just before the track drops away and the bridge goes over the track (that's Pilgrim's Drop btw) at that spot..a tunnel isn't an option...

(Re)moving the bridge isn't. Think they'll change that solid angled barrier at Pocono? Wrecks at 90 deg. on ovals and flips into bridges ANYwhere should only be computer generated in Stallone movies.:irked:

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

After 200 bazillion F1 starts, thank goodness a half millimeter is sufficient distance from the wall.

How much more dirty pool will the boys want to play, now that they know they won't be properly penalized if it's "too late" in the race?
