Rusty Wallace says RA needs to get rid of the gravel traps before NASCAR will come back. :shakehead

How many times during the broadcast did they mention: gravel traps, curbs, rumble strips, etc? And each time, one of the broadcasters said - repeated - they just need to stay on the track.

Hope they stick to that.

Seems particularly appropriate to have signage from an agricultural company like Gehl in that picture. :gomer:

It has been awhile since I watched a race from RA. They have paved the exit of almost every turn. :shakehead

The Nationwide series was at RA, seriously?

How was attendance?

The Nationwide series was at RA, seriously?

How was attendance? Attendance looked good on TV. Rumor has it they were all there to see Jacques. :D

Attendance looked okay, but it wasn't packed. The broadcast was almost watchable between naps, if only someone would unplug Rusty's microphone. The last 20 laps became a demolition derby.

Some great WTF moments:

Red flag for 30 minutes with cars stopped on track?
Double wide restarts on a road course?
Blow an engine, drive back to the pits while covering the track with smoke and oil?
Bump drafting at Turn 5 to pass JV without penalty?

It was like watching someone setting up a campsite in Arlington National Cemetery. Didn't those hilljacks know where they were? :gomer:
