Or the drivers could be handicapped to a common weight, as in Thoroughbred horse racing. Just add the appropriate amount of gold chains until everyone weighs the same.....

Why don't they sell the freaking things and retire Greece's debts with the proceeds. (I like Barillagirl too :))

Only slightly smarter than when they glued $250k diamonds to the nosecones of the Jaguars... at least it will stay inside the car this time, but probably still likely to get stolen.

I was born here Gman. And it's gonna get hot next week, forcast is for a high of 75 at the end of next week. Unbearable heat, but it only last a couple months. :D

Promise? Because this windy and rainy with a high of 49 is killing me. I hope it's warmer by next weekend, when my son is Scout-camping at Baraboo. BRRRR!:eek::eek::eek:

This is the part of F1 I despise.

Ok, McLaren, how about using that cash to make the car faster, hmmmmmm?

My guess is Steinmetz paid for them, and they will be sold at auction.

I had forgotten the Hamilton had them on his helmet before. At least one was donated to be auctioned for charity. http://www.lewishamilton.com/news/2009/06/lewishelmetgosh

Camping is NOTHING like putting up with the horrendous conditions at Monoco...so I've been led to believe,:gomer:

I saw the F1 version of camping at Indy. The Minardi Team was in a supermarket friday night and they had two carts. One was full of boxes of pasta and bottles of sauce and the other one was piled full of bottles of wine. :D

I don't know.... as long as the tents were at least 2,500 sq ft and made of 6 layers of hand spun silk, with a polished cherry wood floor and had nothing less than a 50" HD flat screen installed. Then maybe they could rough it out.

But of course you know they could never race at Road America because the track isn't up to snuff, with millions spent on the garage area alone.

Wretched excess is Formula 1.

 That's why I'm disappointed the way "cost savings" are being implemented.:flame: F1 is not a spec series.
