I should have know better.
I am at the National Fire Academy in Maryland teaching a class this weekend. A young guy in the class is wearing a Holmatro Safety Team Champ Car. I was thinking about some great racing talk at lunch.
At break, I asked him about the hat and he said it was a freebie. He had just taken a tour of the Holmatro Plant (think Jaws of Life) and they gave out the hats to everyone on the tour. :rolleyes:
