Tomorrow I am visiting the Army Heritage and Education Center, part of the War College in Carlisle, PA for a training seminar. As I was reading up tonight, I came across this site run by the Army Heritage folks. They apparently have one of the largest collection of Civil War photos and they are digitizing the pictures. Some great high-res scans:
