...what this little story is about.

…drop the genoa…with a reef main and working jib…after the foresail change…the mainsheet traveler and boom swung leeward…drop the main…under jib alone…the shallow fin keel sloop…run under bare poles and warps…on the jack line…rigging more warps for stern trailing…spindrift…snuggled under the spray dodger…knocked onto it’s beam ends…broken hatch secured to bulkhead…lee of the ship…climbed through stern pulpit…hit by furling drum…mayday...mayday...


And ragbaggers wonder why there is such animosity from the stinkpotters. :D

For about ten years I would visit my bro at this time of year in St Pete and go sailing. Usually it was a week of sailing, grillin' and chillin' on the keys north and south of Cedar Key, FL. with nothing but us, dolphin and birds, and our Hobecat.

Making me a bit sad.
