Graham Hill's autobiography is a good read. I would recommend that as a great way to get in touch with racing in the 60's.

Likewise, Niki Lauda put out a book, "A New Formula One, The Turbo Age." Some rather sobering comments about the magical era when full on turbo power met ground effects. Scary stuff.

Got a good write up in the Wall Street Journal, although, I don't agree with the reviewer's conclusion.

One of the greatest books I ever read, Perry McCarthy could have been a stand up comic had he not been a race car driver. The Andrea Moda team is outright comedy as well. I HIGHLY recommend this book.
