It's a real shame Townshend's insisting on running the Who name into the ground. Pino Palladino my arse. :irked:

So a partial list:
Field is guacmole, lines are sour cream
end zones are salsa and roasted red pepper hummus
field goals are pepperettes
sidelines are alternating cheese slices and deli meats
walls are crackers held up by twinkies
the 'lights' are mini pogos

Brined turkey breast is in the fridge and cookies are in the oven.

Other game snacks include Yanceys Fancy cheese curds, pepperoni and Ritz crackers.

(What? The doc says I need to gain weight!)

the chili is under way.

peppers are sautee'ing (on a coleman stove on the back deck). this years' selections include serrano, habonero, and jalopeno. they'll be in the pot in about 20 minutes or so.

Roasting of piggie completed. Pulling to commence in ~ an hour. Beverage intake already commenced. :gomer: Chili was second choice for the game, but I think that will happen next weekend.

It's either that, or they could do a Spinal Tap "Every Bass Player In The Known Universe" bit.

While doing food prep I went with Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet to get me into game mood. :gomer:
