Bayless' food on Top Chef Masters was the first time I wished I could have reached through my TV set and gotten a nom.

Enjoy yourself! :)

Looks like a chance in a lifetime. I wonder if tenderloins are considered street food?

I made killer batch of Linguine Carbonara last night

Cook Linguine 'al-dente'
Slice bacon in small strips, fry until crispy.
Drain off all fat except for 1/3 cup
Fry Onions in Bacon grease until clear, add Portobella Mushrooms and Capers (set aside when done)
In bowl combine 2 large eggs, 2/3 cup Heavy cream, 3/4 Parmesan cheese, and ground black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
Soon as Linguine is done, add egg/cream mixture and stir thoroughly.
Add Bacon, Mush, Caper mixture and stir in.

Add freshly chopped basil to your taste

Serve!

Feniger comes up with some outstanding creations, pricey as hell, but damn good.

In the event of sensory overload please push the reset button, take some deep breaths and try to focus your eyes on a point in the distance. :D

A couple of years ago I tried to get into his Chicago resturant (I had no idea it was his, it just looked interesting) and it was something like a 2 hour wait. I may be going back to Chicago Thanksgiving weekend (and if not in May) so maybe I should make reservations now.

I guess this explains the sign that showed up about a month ago in the freezer section of the grocery store I go to saying there was an Eggo shortage (and when the sign first showed up there was nearly nothing in the freezer). It was still there last night and I couldn't help wondering what the heck could cause a month long Eggo shortage short of some rich kid somewhere buying up all the stocks of Eggos.

We ate there the weekend of the last CART race in Chicago. Food was great but it was really loud and cramped.

Yo Ank, if we don't get a report on the street food goat rope at CIA Greystone soon we're going to start making stuff up...
