Your a young hot-shoe in F3000. You have a 12 second lead on the final lap of The Monaco Grad Prix . . . . The finish line is with in sight, just feet away . . . . You slow down to give the crew a wave and the next thing you know, you are now in second place!!!!

That was one of the dumbest things I've ever seen anyone do in racing.

Good to see Sperafico got bumped back 1 position for running my guy Pantano off the road. I couldn't believe it when he decided to get racy when he was 1 lap down. :shakehead

Pantano got screwed. Those points will be tough to make up. The only break he got was whatchamacallit pulling over to waive to his pit crew. :shakehead

Anyone who has followed bicycle racing over the years has seen this more than once.

You think you've won the sprint, you raise your arms high off the bars in triumphant victory (while showing your sponsors logo on the front of your jersey) and BAM! You get passed at the line by a tire width.

Rather embarrassing moment. It'll take him a while to live that one down.
