Not for me. They are shaved either on the right side or the bottom. They looked fine on the same machine until this past weekend. I frequent another VB board, and the smilies appear fine on that board. There was an issue similar to this a couple of years ago.

Oddly, they appear fine in IE 7 on the same machine.

^^ screen capture of cropped smileys for those who don't get them

when I right-click over a cropped smiley and select "properties"... it magically becomes un-cropped. wierd.

true, they're not "cropped" in the above cap, more like "blurry/squished". For me, they used to always look the way they do in the frame in the right.

So what's the OS/Browser combo that's doing this? Looks like it's squashing the smiley to fit on the line or something.

Nothing has changed about the smilies or the forum recently - other than becoming more overdue for a vBulletin update. :D

Vista Home with FF 3.5.x is the OS/browser combo for me. As I indicated previously, the smilies rendered properly on the same machine before last weekendish. Perhaps the overnight trip to Cincy/Newport on the Levee affected the laptop. :gomer:

Uh, oh you have SM....Smiley Virus. You have to format the drive to get rid of it.

Do you have auto-update on for Windows and/or FF?
