Practice this week, the race next week. Gorgeous panoramic scenery in HD along with bikes burning up the 37 mile Mountain Course. Some great aerial zoom shots of the bikes at terminal speed on the mountain.

Not really the same event as back when it was an FIM sanctioned event with factory teams and Hailwood and Agostini were duking it out yet the speeds are a lot faster now. Australian rider Cam Donald set an average speed of 131.457 for the 37 mile course on a liter class superbike. Seriously.

Some great side car footage as well....:D

I was going to go with this years winner until I spotted that gem. It's from the 1970 TT as they crest Ballaugh Bridge.

Part of a gallery of 80 pics, mostly from the 1960's.
Isle of Man TT gallery (http://www.topfoto.co.uk/gallery/ttraces/ppages/ppage1.htm) There are shots of Surtees, Agostini plus Hailwood on both the Manx Norton and later on the MV Agusta. Didn't see any of his Honda rides.

Here's another sidecar gem from the 1961 TT

Nothing like using a paint stripe six inches from somebodies concrete front porch for an apex  Watching that thing scares the **** out of me. I miss Joey Dunlop :(

If I have directv can I watch this or is it just for dish or fios or something? I haven't seen anything about this race since the old speedvision days...

may I suggest www.bbc.co.uk/nw200 for online coverage of the Northwest 200, the same guys who race the TTs but in a real racing format.

get some sock tethers before clicking the link.

I played the video, but I felt like I needed a trenchcoat more than I needed sock tethers...:p

Gotta say that the multi-part long format presentation of the TT has been one of the best race broadcasts I've ever seen. Very nice addition to the summer.
