Not sure how many boxing fans are here. He was not great but very good and a total warrior. Rarely gave up even when he should have.

Apparently murdered by his wife while vacationing in Brazil.

Really sad. I can't say I knew the name but when I saw his face, I recognized him. Not sure if he did anything to deserve it (as in McNair) but "Hell hath no fury....." comes to mind.

The opposite, it appears. I hadn't heard anything about it since the morning it was announced on ESPN. All they said at that time was that he was found shot to death in his home. Checking the news now, it does look like the suicide angle is what they're going with.
