Just bought myself a '06 Suzuki Grand Vitara Luxury. Car has 40k. Heated leather seats. Power everything. Listed for $14,900. Knocked them down to $12,900. Negotiated $2500 for my 98 Escort with the check engine light on and failed AC compressor.

After driving this for a few days there is no way I can go back to a regular 'car' for every day driving. Unless it's a Porsche....

Wasn't The Grand Vitara's Garden Party on the flip side of Several Species of Small Furry Animals Gathered Together in a Cave and Grooving with a Pict?

In Chile, the 5-door Grand Vitara is known as Grand Nomade.

With all the cash you saved on that deal, now you can get ready for next year's Dakar Rally.

Update. I no longer have the vehicle. My wife and I are now separated and I moved back to Canada. Could not import the truck as US Customs would not release the vehicle to Canada Customs without a clear title. Found this out the day before I was leaving. So the ex didn't want to be bothered to sell it so it was taken back to the dealer and probably repossessed by now.

All I was left with was my clothes, personal items and $40 in my wallet when I crossed the border.

Sorry to hear the bad news Mappy.

On the plus side you picked the best time of the year to be moving back to Canada, just when the geese are starting to think of moving south for the winter.
