Isn't this awful? I also doubt the suicide but because he was there to start a new movie. It seems incongruous.

The scene at the end of KB II where he realizes he's been killed is some of the finest acting I've ever seen.

A real loss. :(

Agreed. A friend writes a Hollywood blog and opined it was something like this the first day, however. Apparently quite a bit of "choking" going on with teenagers trying to get a thrill. Parents out there, beware.

Now they are saying that he was found with his hands tied behind his back. I think that's an effort to (dare I say) cut short the other speculations. Whatever happened, it's pretty clear that they do not want it made public.

I'm still sad but now I'm also sad that it was an ignominious end for a great actor.

It's getting weirder. TMZ says that post-mortem photos show DC wearing fishnets, and there was a dark wig and women's lingerie nearby. A Thai tabloid has already published the photos, but DC's family is threatening to sue any media outlet that publishes the photos.

Back in the olden days, one of my best friends in high school lost her boyfriend that way... his parents came home from a weekend trip and found him hanged in the closet, pants down. He was a nice kid and we were shocked when we heard how he died. I can understand why Carradine's family wants to keep this quiet.

Seems like autoerotic asphyxiation is the just the flip side of the power tool fad. I'm pretty open minded right up to the killing or maiming part. If the need for "more" in sex has someone considering risking life or limb some quiet time and meds may be in order.
