I checked the doppler storm total for the rainfall for the past few days down there, and 10-15"+ of rain has fallen over most of the Daytona Beach area. :eek: The shuttle might need swim fins to land. :gomer:

I live in Central Florida, and for Daytona they've gotten something on the order or 20+ inches of rain since Sunday. And the flooding is intense in the Daytona Beach area right now. It's exceeding the quantity of rain that Tropical Storm Fay dropped last year in it's multi-day, three landfall trip across the state. And all from a stalled front at the beginning of the week and a slow-moving tropical disturbance.
