It's rough out there.

Laguna Seca sent out their monthly newsletter today with this offer for the Grand Am race on Sunday.

BUY-ONE-GET-ONE FREE FOR CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS

As a way to give all Californians a chance to experience the wheel-to-wheel action the Grand-Am Rolex Series is famous for there is an incredible Buy-One-Get-One offer for all residents of the Golden State.

Race fans wanting to take advantage of the California Residents BOGO can call the Mazda Raceway ticket office at (800) 327-7322, or simply provide a valid California Drivers License at the gate. This offer is not valid on-line.

But that's not all...

LITTLE CRUISERS

As a thank you to our fans, children under 12 not only get in for free to the Verizon Festival of Speed presented by SPEEDCOM, but will eat for free when accompanied by an adult with a paid ticket. For more details, please contact the Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca ticket office at (800) 327-7322.

A Sunday ticket is $40 at the gate, which would admit a family of (4) and buy lunch for (2) kids. That's a lot of honey to attract new fans.

I would go to a Grand Am race if you gave me a police escorted limo ride to and from the track, $500 cash, and kept me high the whole time I was there.

General admission tickets for the ALMS weekend go like this:
Friday - free
Saturday - $11.00 each if you buy more than 5, $25.00 each if you buy less.
Sunday - $35.00 each on Sunday

Grandstands are
Friday - free
Saturday - $40.00
Sunday - $50.00

And they changed the rules on the grandstands. A grandstand ticket gets you into any grandstand so you can wander from grandstand to grandstand if you so desire.

No hand job?

I heard there's a few Courtesy Reacharound kiosks in the paddock if you buy the paddock pass for all three days...:gomer:

No hand job?

I figured it wasn't worth asking. The F1 guys get me the Nazi hookers, and don't suppose anyone could top that.
