ALMS limps into St. Pete with a greatly diminished entry list. Only three P1 cars, three P2 cars, and eleven GT2 cars.

The race itself starts at 1:20pm EDT with ABC joining the race in progress at 1:30pm EDT.

They could do laps in their pace car and it would still interest me more than the irl.

They're pretty bad off but the LMS is really in a bad way. They only have a hours worth of coverage of the race and thats right in the middle of the 6 hours. Still though, they have 44 cars on the grid so who knows. ALMS is gonna be rough this year but I'm hoping that next year will be better.

It was a bit of a rainy start, but things improved by noon. It was sad not to see all the familiar entries like Audi and Pratt&Miller. All in all, I`ll probably skip tomorrow.

I don`t want to get Wicker Bill upset again, so instead of Microsoft tools, I used Photobucket this year ;)
Sorry if a few pics have some doodoocars :gomer:

Given all of the other issues with ALMS at the moment, this may seem like a small one but...

I'd prefer NOT to hear about "hot rods" during the broadcast.

That might have been the single most painful broadcast I've ever seen (of a race I was at least mildly interested in, anyway).

Okay I had the sound off and was watching over two 4.5 year-olds during the entire race. What did I miss:confused:

A SpikeTV-level broadcast of an embarrassingly-thin field. The only bright spot I can offer is that most of the coverage focused on GT2.

PS: This is the team that recently announced a new Atlantics program.

Looks like the right rear was pushed in from a collision with the wall, making the job more difficult, but still...
