Twynholm Scotland must be a very boring lonely place.

OTOH, the only true Scot I've known was a aerospace engineer who built satellites for RCA. I shared a house with him about 25 years ago. After a few years here he moved back to Scotland because he said American girls "just weren't that friendly".

At his going away party at some point we had him standing out on the main road in a kilt under a spotlight, so drunk he could barely stand, holding a sign reading "Last chance to F### a Scotsman"

Up the road we had a sign reading "Just ahead, Last Chance to F@@@ a Scotsman.

Down the other way we had a sign that said, "You just passed your last chance to F### a Scotsman"

He was right about American woman. No one stopped.

How he made his flight in the morning I don't know. I did hear later he had a little trouble at customs because we emptied his suitcases and filled them with (non native) oak leaves (it was Autumn ;))
